Peggy Ann Pierce Sexton

Mrs. Peggy Ann Pierce Sexton, age 75, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Bobby W. Sexton, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby W. “Bob” Sexton, Jr. and Christine; daughters and sons-in-law, Daphanie Sexton Tarey and Marty, and Beth Sexton Legg and Joseph; sisters, Sara Clark and husband, Lavelle, Betty Stone and husband, Stanley, and Wynette Rhodes; grandchildren, Suzanna Norris and husband, Kurt, Kaitlin Scofield, Kaden Sage, Kannon Legg and Justin Sexton; and great-grandchildren, Anna Kate Edwards, Hannah Norris and Holt Norris. She was preceded in death by her parents, Iona Cawthon Pierce and George Wilburn Pierce, Sr.; and five brothers.

Graveside services for Mrs. Peggy Ann Pierce Sexton were held at 2 pm Monday, June 14, 2021 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Adrian Carnley officiating with special music by Josh “Hoss” Smith. Visitation was held at Wyatt Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

The family received friends at the home of Beth Sexton Legg, 803 E. Ida Ave., Opp, Al 36467.
