Mark Edward Arthur

Mark Edward “Chip” Arthur of Geneva, AL passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at his home. He was 74 years old. In keeping with the wishes of Mr. Arthur there will not be any services held at this time.

Mr. Arthur was born in Montgomery, AL on April 17, 1947 to the late Mark and Ruth Jacobs Arthur. Chip loved ridding motorcycles and being around people. He affectionately referred to anyone he met as “buddy”. He was a very talented artist and draftsman. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Geneva. His family and friends were the most important parts of his life, and he will be missed by all that knew him. 

He is surived by one daughter, Stacey Shirah (Stephen) of Geneva, AL; one son, Jay Arthur (Magan) of Gainesville, FL; three grandchildren, Zachary Shirah, Clayton Arthur, and Ashley Arthur; one sister, Linda Mae Thorpe; and many nieces and nephews.
