Sav-A-Life Banquet scheduled for September 20

The 29th Annual Sav-A-Life Banquet will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the Kiwanis Community Center in Andalusia.  COVID Protocols will be followed.

Our guest speaker will be the Dr. David Stevens. From 1981 to 1991, Dr. Stevens was a missionary doctor in Kenya where he helped to transform Tenwek Hospital into a premier mission healthcare outreach. He then became the medical director of Samaritan’s Purse, assisting mission hospitals and he started their outreach of sending medical relief teams into war and disaster zones. In 1994, he became the CEO of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations and led its efforts to motivate, train and equip Christian healthcare professionals to glorify God for 25-years.

After stepping down as CMDA’s CEO in 2019, he is focused on helping mission hospitals and is sought after for speaking and training around the world. Dr. Stevens is a graduate of Asbury University and is board certified in family practice and has a master’s degree in bioethics.
