Opp Chamber hosting 2021 Christmas Village

The Opp Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2021 Opp Christmas Village for the city and community. They would like to invite you, your business, club, or organization to participate in this event by creating and setting up a lighted Christmas display.
The village will once again be located at Benton Park in Opp. This is the Cameron Road Walking Trail- across from the softball complex.

The lot sizes are 25 feet (entrance is 14 feet wide).

Chamber director Kelly Brandin encourages this opportunity for free promotion of your business, club, or organization.

Supplies needed are Christmas decorations, Multiple extension cords & timer(s) and manpower to set up/dismantle display.

Display Suggestions are Christmas lights, ornaments, trees, candy canes, Christmas houses, etc.
Decorate using a Christmas theme. No motorized Christmas blow-ups allowed due to required electricity.

Dates for Setting Up Your Display are Monday, November 15 – Sunday, November 28, 2021.
Dates for Dismantling Your Display are Sunday, January 2 – Sunday, January 9, 2022.
The Opp Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for any damage that may occur to your display or any stolen decorations.

The Opp Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for physical injuries that may occur during the set up or dismantling of the Christmas displays.

If interested, go by the the Opp Depot to pick up a form, complete and return the form to Kelly Brandin at the Opp Depot as soon as possible, so she will have an idea of how many participants there will be this year.
