DREAM FLIGHT honoring WWII, Vietnam Veteran to take place Wednesday

Decorated military veteran Richard Warnick will be honored with DREAM FLIGHT in a Boeing PT-17 Stearman Wednesday, September 22, at 12:00 PM at the South Alabama Regional Airport. This date is rescheduled from last week when weather was an issue.

The flight will take place at the main airport terminal located at 21861 Bill Benton Lane, Andalusia. Mr. Warnick will arrive at 11:00 AM to meet with visitors and prepare for his flight. The founder of the DREAM FLIGHT organization will be attending.

Richard Warnick is a WWII and Vietnam Veteran. He has many military honors to include purple heart and legion of merit. Mr. Warnick currently resides in Horn Hill, just outside of Opp where he lives with his nephew and niece.

SARA invites and encourages the community to come and support Mr. Warnick as he takes his flight at the airport. Light refreshments will be served to those attending.
