Vickie Lewis Madden

Vickie Lewis Madden of Hartford passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022.  She was 55. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Jessie Hobbs, officiating. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva, directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, beginning at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to  Angels of America’s Fallen at 10010 Devonwood Court, Colorado Springs, CO 80920.

Vickie was born in Enterprise, AL on September 30, 1966, to Sybil Lewis and the late John Elijah Lewis.  She was a graduate of Geneva High School, Class of 1984, where she was a cheerleader for the Geneva Panthers.Vickie was chosen as the 1984 Geneva Homecoming Queen.She also attended George C. Wallace Community College.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Madden of Hartford; mother, Sybil Lewis of Geneva; son, Zachary Allen of Dothan; three grandchildren, Luca Walberg, Atlas Walberg, Lillie Allen; daughter, Tori Newman of Picayune, MS; sister, Kelli Chodor (Vince); brother, Joey Lewis (Shelly), all of Colorado Springs, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
