Vietnam traveling wall in Andalusia for the weekend

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE WALL THIS WEEKEND
The Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall will be in Andalusia through the weekend, and they have volunteers on hand to assist visitors 24/7, until 5 p.m. Sunday.
They also have an accompanying monument with the names of all who have fallen in military service since 9-11.
• The Friends of Army Aviation plan to do 8-10 minute UH-1H “Huey” helicopter rides from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. from Packer Field.
• On Saturday at 2 p.m., the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 607, of Montgomery, will have a Missing Man Ceremony in the auditorium of City Hall.
• On Sunday at 2:30 p.m., Command Sergeant Major (Ret). Jimmie W. Spencer, will speak about the Vietnam War in a program in the Andalusia City Hall Auditorium.
• At 5 p.m. on Sunday, they will have a brief closing ceremony with a prayer and “Taps” to conclude The Wall’s visit to Andalusia.
