Mrs. Cupie Dean Newby Jacobs, age 85, of Dozier, Alabama passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her sons, Joel Daughtry & wife, Michele, Greg Jacobs and Tim Newby; and 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Jacobs; and parents, Bertie Mae Odom Newby and Wiley L. Newby.

Graveside services for Mrs. Cupie Dean Newby Jacobs will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 8, 2022 in Bethel Cemetery (12796 Forest Rd., Opp, Al 36467). Fred Billie and Jerry Elmore will be officiating. Visitation will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home beginning at 9:30 am Saturday.
