Ruth Owens Nelson

Mrs. Ruth Owens Nelson, age 92, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 in the Opp Health & Rehab.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Gailon O. Nelson & Lori; daughter, Maria Sheppard; five brothers; one sister; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gailon W. Nelson; brother, Foster C. Owens; and parents, Daisy Powell Owens and Charlie A. Owens.

A graveside service for Mrs. Ruth Owens Nelson was held at 11:00 am Friday, October 28, 2022 in Babbie Cemetery. Visitation was held at Wyatt Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. Jimmy Aaron officiated.
