James Edger Williams

James Edger Williams age 78, husband of Barbara Bowdoin Williams, passed away November 18, 2022.

 Jim was born in Anthony, Kansas, September 13, 1944 to Louis and Mildred Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerry Williams and sister, Linda Hutchinson.

 He is survived by his wife and sons, Jason Wooten (Darcie) children, Channing and Spencer; Brooks Wooten (Courtney) children, Morgan (Claudia), Stone, Banks, Jack and Miles.

 Jim retired from General Motors in Spring Hill, TN after years in Arlington, TX.

He was a fan of all sports. He played in golf leagues and traveled the country with a successful NHRA drag racing team as a driver and mechanic.

 A graveside service was held November 23, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Geneva, AL. His family shared their love, prayers and memories of life lessons learned from Jim.

 Jim was a goodman who excelled at many things, especially bringing out the best in people.
