John Douglas Womack, Sr.

John Douglas Womack, Sr. passed away on March, 23, 2023. He was a retired military veteran having served 36 years for the United States Army and the Alabama Army National Guard. 

He was a dedicated member of AMVETS Post 23 in Opp. 

He was a faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. 

Funeral services will by Saturday, April 1st at 11 a.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Georgiana, Al. Committal Services will be at 2 p.m. at Hardin St. Cemetery in Opp, Al.
