Geneva PD investigating incident

Geneva Police Department is investigating an Aug. 22 incident that was reported as a hit and run involving a bicycle.

Apparently, this wasn’t the case, but the victim was injured. The victim told investigators it was not a hit and run.

According to the release, the victim said he had been hit in the face with an unknown object. He was transported to the hospital and later transported to another hospital.

As of Aug. 23, investigators attempted to contact him, but he had been discharged. On Aug. 24, they found out he was at a third hospital, where he told an investigator his injuries were a result of a physical altercation.

The investigation is continuing, and no further information is available at this time.
