Traffic crash claims life of local U. S. Postal Carrier
A tragic accident in River Falls has taken the life of valued rural route carrier for the United States Postal Service. On Friday, September 8 just before 10:00 a.m. the River Falls Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision along Alabama Highway 55 North, about a mile north of the U. S. Hwy. 84 intersections.
River Falls PD and ALEA State Troopers are collaborating closely to diligently investigate the incident. Preliminary findings suggest that both vehicles were traveling southbound on Alabama Highway 55 when the accident occurred. Sadly, Hannah Denae Lindsey 32, the driver of a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina lost her life at the scene. The driver of the Dodge Ram pickup truck was unharmed.
A dedicated team of law enforcement officers will continue working to uncover all aspects of this unfortunate event.

Hannah is the daughter of David and Shirley Lindsey and the mother of two young children. Funeral services will be directed by Coleman Funeral Home taking place at Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church with viewing on Saturday September 16 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. also at Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church located at 103 Church Street in Opp.
